What’s My Style?

If it moves in the shadows, the stage, or the stars…I’m probably into it.

What Medium? All the mediums are fun in their own way, but oils are my fave.

Currently, I am the Artist in Residence & Board Member for Rogue Dance Productions Inc. in Arizona. Dancers are my muses and dancing has been in my life since I could walk. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by creatives who are dreamers, storytellers, and passionate about sharing through live performance. With my background in dance you’ll find me in studios, rehearsals, backstage, onstage & everywhere in between - normally with a sketchbook or a camera in my hands.

Why Art?

The world is a stage and I am so ready for it now! I have a deep passion for art therapy and mental health advocacy and activism. As a CTPSD and SA Survivor, I have found myself again, and a way forward in life through art. The world needs more love and art and support now more then ever. Just like humans, art doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to exist, and that in of itself can take a lifetime to learn. The friendships, memories, and experiences we get on the journey are the best bits so I am trying to share mine. That includes the dark, because as a SA trauma survivor not only have I battled my demons, but I made friends with them in the night & honey they look good and keep me strong as hell.

How does it work?
